Windows Media Player. Winamp. Trillian. Internet Explorer. TextPad. Photoshop. Video In display. Championship Manager 01/02. Windows Explorer: F drive for digital camera and My Pictures folder. Eudora. Microsoft Excel. And, of course, Microsoft Word.

I think my computer is about to die — I definitely need a beefier one or to get me some focus and concentration. For those curious about several seeming incongruities:

• with the Video In thing and Championship Manager open I can dip into either a football management game or a football playing game with ease;
• I use TextPad to code, Word to write;
• Winamp isn’t actually doing anything right now, because I’ve set the Ed Wood DVD to chunter along in the background;
• I don’t use Trillian to check my email because I ‘always have Eudora open.’ At times like this I have to consider reconsidering that;
• Photoshop is there because I am also noodling with the digital camera images, with little success.

And you know what the worst thing about all this is? I don’t have to be doing any of it! All of this is eating up my leisure time, damnit.
